Project Manager - Remote or Onsite in Roseville, CA (Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm PST)

Location: Remote or hybrid in East Bay Area. If in Sacramento then onsite at Quest in Roseville, CA

Days/Hours of Work: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm PST; possible weekends and evenings

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will assist in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of various IT and IS projects. Assists in monitoring the activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame, budget and customer expectation parameters. Exercises judgment and discretion in the assistance with project management techniques, process controls and procedures in order to execute the work required. Work requires critical thinking to recognize issues and identify appropriate solutions.The candidate will assist in planning and executing work for multiple assignments and overlapping schedules.

Essential Functions:

  • Gathers all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings.
  • Track project deliverables and ensure schedule adherence for the respective tasks.
  • Assist in the coordination of teams to and project assignments
  • Schedule project follow up meetings as needed.
  • Develop supporting data in the form of text, tables, charts and spreadsheets for use in technical reports.
  • Manage raw data files and make accessible for others.
  • Report items to Quest management and team members.
  • Help to drive project deliverables and maintain project timelines; working creatively with management to overcome project obstacles
  • Maintain and deliver defined deliverables on assigned projects
  • Track and maintain project contract, preparing and drafting appropriate change and project addendums as needed.
  • Resposible for maintaining and tracking project budget and delivering within scope
  • Responible for managing Quest resource in relation to assigned projects and workload; including financial, engineering, and material resources
  • Become the liaison between the customer and the Quest team in regards to assigned projects.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with end customers and partners to help establish report and new sales opportunites.
  • Maintain and balance a diverse project and assignment workload
  • The incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as apparent or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years' experience in project management; experience with project management within a Managed Services or Professional services organization is a plus.
  • Bachelor degree with Major in Business/Management, MIS, or Engineering are preferred; or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing Infrastructure, Systems Integrations, or Application Development projects a plus
  • CAPM or PMP are a plus, but not required
  • Candidate must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and Google Applications
  • Strong computer knowledge and organizational skills
  • Must have a positive/ambitious attitude
  • Must enjoy developing relationships and helping business meet their Technology needs.

Working Conditions / Environment & Physical Demands:

  • Required to work in an office environment with moderate noise and moderate temperatures.
  • Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required.
  • Sit for long periods of time.

Wages and Benefits:

  • Pay range is $3,125- $5,208 per pay period. Quest recognizes 24 pay periods per calendar year
